Bake alongside artist Rob Shostak in conversation with Jewish&'s Lauren Schreiber Sasaki, both Montreal-born and Toronto-based enthusiasts of homemade challah, the bread customarily eaten by Ashkenazi Jews at Shabbat and (most) Holiday meals. Together they will prepare a braided challah while chatting about Rob's artistic practice and how making challah over the past two years gave rise to the concept for his upcoming installation at Toronto's FENTSTER window gallery. Plus, learn how you can be a part of the exhibition by contributing the parchment paper left over from baking your challah.
